About The Founder

McThompson Marketing, with offices in the USA and Canada, was founded in 2002 by Leslie McCarthy, a sales and marketing veteran with expertise in logical, affordable and executable marketing and training programs that provide improved results without disruption to day-to-day activities.

This expertise has been gained working in the United States and Canada for both publicly and privately held companies varying in size from large corporations to start-ups.  Leslie has held a variety of senior marketing positions including:  chief marketing officer for a software start-up, vice-president of marketing for a construction materials manufacturer and vice-president of marketing for a medical devices manufacturer.  Earlier in her career, she was a corporate meeting planner managing trade shows and events worldwide and held a variety of sales positions.

In addition to her work in the corporate sector, Leslie has worked with not-for-profit, government, military and entreprenerial clients in both the USA and Canada. Her engaging style and real-life examples amuse, motivate and excite audiences about the possibility for growth in their organizations and in their careers.
