About The Founder
McThompson Marketing, with offices in Canada and the USA, was founded in 2002 by Leslie Thompson, a sales and marketing veteran with expertise in interim marketing management for emerging companies. 

This expertise has been gained working in the United States and Canada for both publicly- and privately-held companies varying in size from large corporations to start-ups.  Leslie has held a variety of senior marketing positions including:  Chief Marketing Officer for a software start-up, Vice-President of Marketing for a construction materials manufacturer and Vice-President of  Marketing for a medical devices manufacturer.  Earlier in her career, she was a corporate meeting planner managing trade shows and events worldwide, and held a variety of sales positions.

In addition to her work with emerging businesses, Leslie's services include a series of workshops geared toward entrepreneurship and effective balance between the personal and professional sides of life.  These are the skills necessary to succeed in small business.  Her engaging style and real-life examples motivate and excite audiences about the possibility of starting their own business.
